BathCraft, Inc was formed in late 1986 by the team of Lynwood Davis and Johnnie Hambrick in response to the growing

need of quality fiberglass bathing products for the Southeast’s Plumbing Wholesale and manufactured housing industry. Production began in January, 1987 with 13 craftsmen on board,.  Other expansion opportunities occurred in 1987 as BathCraft began production of a small line of acrylic tub/showers and whirlpools.  This expansion allowed BathCraft to become

 a major player in their  service area of Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina and the eastern border of Alabama.  Employing over 180 employees, BathCraft was well on their way to being a leader in the Gelcoat and Acrylic fiberglass reinforced bath industry.

Jacuzzi Brands, Inc. took notice of BathCraft’s success and acquired them in 1998.  Now part of the expanding Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath family, BathCraft supports Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath’s efforts as a regional production facility.   BathCraft produces over 1,000 units per day, with a production staff of over 600 employees.  The Lowndes/Valdosta Chamber of Commerce recognized BathCraft as the 2004 Manufacturer of the Year.

From humble beginnings to a publicly held corporation, Lynwood and Johnnie remain very involved in the day to day

operation of BathCraft.  This consistency in management and support from loyal employees is the winning formula for

the success of BathCraft, Built by Craftsmen.
